Mostly tedium:
Light, shadow
retreat, advance
across the dust’s expanse.
Sparrows worry insects,
one limbless as an antique statue.

Omphaloskeptically, I flatter myself seeing something of de Chirico, Ritsos, and Holub haunting this little poem.
