A one-armed man
I didn’t ask what happened.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I’ve been reading George Garrett’s very excellent epigrams and convinced myself that all of my poems have far too many words in them. I tried my hand at a few epigrams, and relished a form that lends itself to the rhyming couplet, to bits that seem like wisdom.
